I took this photo of a nosey little neighbor while visiting my cousin's home in Scottsdale, AZ. As it turned out, his little poochie nose looked darling until he spotted me and a yapping fit commenced. He quickly lost all allure, but at least I got the shot first.
Hello Donna
ReplyDeleteWhen I began blogging about four years ago one of the 'tips' I read about finding like-minded souls was to put an interesting comment down and then others might read it and be inspired to come and find me.
I've just read the comment you left on willow's blog and it piqued my interest so much that I have come to say hello. Your profile makes me feel very sorry that you had so much tragedy at the same time. It sounds almost too much to bear.
As for dogs - I'm a bichon frise lover but to be honest I just adore all dogs.
Well, at least the first view was a cute one! :c)
ReplyDeleteThis is such an artistic shot, Donna.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful comment left at WM and for the giggles, my friend. I'm glad to see FF wandered over to say hello!
Great shot! Sorry the relationship didn't progress in a more friendly manner!
ReplyDeleteHe looks adorable and as cute as a button....just goes to show a photograph never reveals the whole truth. xv
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute nose. It goes to show that beauty sometimes is only skin deep : ) Or maybe he was trying to get your attention, so he could make a new friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna! Like French Fancy, I've hopped over to visit, from Willow's and so glad I did, and am full of admiration for you. I am so pleased you wrote a while ago, about the uneasy relationship we baby boomers have with our parents who's lives were not easy.I feel you to be such an understanding soul in this. I can't wait to come back and read through all of your posts, and am sorry that you had such an incredibly tragic time losing your mother and husband on the same day. I can't comprehend what that must have been like. Your tribute to your husband was beautiful and I was so very touched watching it.
ReplyDeleteI toddled on over from Willow's place. Nice to be here. I used to raise German Shepherds too. Auf Der Heide...was their name. They are a beautiful, loyal dog.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the loss of your mom and husband. Hope your pooches help you through.
See ya soon
Read your words at Pam's so thought I'd stop by and send a big wet kiss from Miss Trix,my rescue German Shepherd! And to hope that each day the next step forward gets easier.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on Willow's blog and read your blog. Sorry about your loss. The blogging world is amazing. I was intrigued by the story this morning on the Today Show about this group of ladies: http://www.bigfishbabes.com/
